Not a bad price if they're Marples.

Wish my first shopping experience my second week in the trade was that cheap.

Blew a grand on tools but being given a payrise that day softened the blow. Boss at the time was good like that. My wages went up every month or so as I became more useful to him.

I thaught I seen one in a machine mart catalogue but they must of stopped doing joiners tool sets.

Being as it's a gift. It's all in one piece. No brick a brack... Had a quick search on tinterweb

Raided my lockup for tools for my 8yo. Not getting rid of stuff has advantages. Had to build him a shed to keep his tools in. But he's always out there building.

Need to sort him a cordless jigsaw next.

He's already in the DeWalt camp with my old drill and driver set. He uses it more than I did as a spare

Il buy myself a new jiggy and pass the old one on to him.

Proper cabinet scraper and a burnisher

Wire wool and soda crystals will lift most waxes

Pearl glue is hard to beat for veneering

Syringe PVA and a hot iron is perfect for sorting lifted veneers.

Hmm loads of stuff to add just it's all archived deep in my brain having apprenticed as a traditional cabinet maker. had to stop due to dust sensitivity, but I loved the work.
