I don't know about quality ones, but the guy who I buy my Dinitrol from sold me a Duran Schutz gun for £7.50 told me he sells loads of them and they are a best seller.
any gun that takes the cartridge is ok. its just a suction gun with a brass nozzle and squirts it on![]()
all seem much the same, get whatevers cheapest
As above.
I still have a cheapo plastic one that came free with a case of stone chip from brown brothers.
Only thing I would avoid is heavy ones that fall over.
With thick wax, the Schutz gun require that the wax is heated first for the attachments to work. It was in the instructions for mine to do that. The one I have came with attachments for spraying cavities - they don't work but it sprays shutz perfectly with the std nozzle!
True, I never actually tried my Schutz gun with hot wax. My pressure pot works fine with thickest wax and at room temperature. We need to find a cheaper brand of pressure pot though, the Sealey ones are expensive for what they are.As per the recent thread on the subject, it seems that noone can get them to work, regardless of temp.
There was talk of pressure pots, but theyre quite expensive.
usualy alter the air pressure and or thin the product...also, will I need to adjust/replace the nozzle for different finishes/textures?
