When I was much younger I used to buy Seiko diver watches but all of them started to get moisture in them after a little bit of time, and they were rated for 200m, the main trouble was that using them at work would guarantee that after a few weeks the lens would start to scratch badly. I eventually bought many different cheap digital models and they suffered the same fate, my thinking was that when they get too bad I would just bin them and start again.
About 2014 just after my heart surgery my wife bought me a Quartz Deep Blue divers watch, it was just under AU$500, it was rated to 1000m and it had a Sapphire lens, I am still wearing it now and the lens is as clear as the day I got it with no scratches. I generally do not look after my watches. Not only that, it keeps time to +- a few seconds a month, so it doesn't get much better than that. I think that its battery has been replaced 3 or 4 times now.
There is another watch which may be of the same quality and about $225, comes with a Sapphire lens, also rated to 1000m, I was thinking about buying it when my last battery expired but decided to get the battery replaced again on mine for sentimental reasons. This one may be worth considering, at least it shouldn't leak or scratch up. The only thing I changed with mine was the strap and I went to a S/S band when my rubber strap broke. I knew that the supplied rubber one would break eventually as in Australia's heat and using sun screen all the rubber type straps break after a little while,
Have a look at these ones as it may fit your purpose, they are the same watch but the second one is much cheaper than the first one.
