Hi, I am making a seesaw for the Grandkids. I have been sourcing parts, I have most the bits and pieces including two lovely tractor seats. I also have some steel letters for their initials im going to incorporate into the handles.
The main beam is going to be made fromm 100mm box 4mm thick. There will be two posts of the same box and the beam will pivot between.
I was looking at welding a tube through all 3 sections and a pin through them all. It will be well greased. Any ideas of size or where i can get the pin or tube from in such short lengths? Im in Teesside. I think the pin could probably be a heavy walled pipe or tube too.
Thanks, Paul.
