what do you guys think of the necessity of a 'seemtronic' tool for measuring the tension on timing belts (usually french vehicles)?
i don't want to spend a three-figure sum on something that is just a few percent better than the normal method but i have read the usual manufacturer warning like 'do not attempt to adjust tension without special tool no.******-***' you know the kind of thing.
anyone got experience of using this item? and what's your opinion on it?
