At work, we have 4 shipping containers outside to store materials. We don't store anything of value in them since the first time they were broken into. We can't move the containers, there is nowhere else for them to go. All that is stored in them is timber for the joiners, plaster for us, some worthless plumbing stuff and odds and sods from other departments. We need the containers, there is not enough room in the workshops for the stuff. They have to be locked for health and safety reasons (students would go play in them). Now, because they are locked, they attract thieves. (probably the same people who set up a caravan park on spare land next door, if you know what I mean). Now, when you see the pics, you'll understand that these thieves seem to have all the time in the world and no problems making noise. They don't seem to have power tools but they make a right mess of the lock covers, which in turn leaves us with another H&S issue. We really want to make them as secure as possible. Can anyone come up with an idea?Cutting and welding is not a problem. I was thinking maybe something like 6mm plate for the covers?
