secoTherm (or similar) on steel

At the local Men's Shed, which is a 40ft container, we had a guy round yesterday to look at solar panels.

During his inspection he found a fair bit of rust on the roof, with bubbled paint. He recommended "secoTHERM" but when I'm googling it, it seems very much a masonry / brickwork type of paint.

Any thoughts on applying it to the roof of a container (I'm presuming no) and, failing that, any other recommendations for some kind of plasticoat type paint for up there?

scrape it, grind, wire brush etc, then coat with navy steel. Then prime and paint with any metal paint of your choice.

with it being metal it will expand and stretch for fun in the sun so no matter what paint you put on it it will be a yearly application as paint cracks with the expansion and contraction in the sun the darker the roof the more heat is within the metal

with your solar panels are they sloping towards the sun on the roof ?

doing a clean and repair will do but to stop the expansion of the metal would be the best alternative and that simply means reroofing over the metal roof because its covered over you can use the cold roof method therefore keeping it cool
