Searching for weld photos

I was trying to explain to someone about the figure of eight weld pattern and said I'd get some pics off the forum. Now I've done a few searches but come up empty handed. I remember somebody posted some pics that had been lifted from another web site and in the dicussion that followed it was said they didn't look hot enough and people were unsure if it was MIG or TIG. Anyone remember what the thread was or some key words for the search. They were good studio photos, not phone jobs. Thanks.

I believe the the thread you are looking for was called "mig like tig" from another forum.the torch movement wasn't figure eight but a series of lower case eeeeeee's in a pulling direction.

Thanks for the links, they are indeed a bit good, but the pics were in a thread on this site and they were proper moody well lit studio pics.

Still not the one I saw, that was on mild, but I enjoyed looking at that. I'd have hung it on the wall. Don't think 'er in drawers would have appreciated that though.

I saw a video clip just like that on youtube just a few days ago...
(I'm new to welding so was searching the site for video clips of welding techniques.)
Unfortunately I'm at work at the moment, but I could try posting some links from home if you're still stuck later
