Ok, my first post so please excuse any stupid questions here.
I have been reading the articles (very good by the way) on the website and comments in the forum regarding welding for beginners but I'm interested to know what to do when you have welded something together!!!
For example I am about to start welding a floor section into a car restoration and I have heard people talk about seam sealer after you have welded. Do I need this? I thought that once welded I would grind back the welds so it looks nice and flat and then use a rust preventing paint over all of my chassis and floor sections. Hence, will I need seam sealer or not as I don't really understand what it does!
Cheers
Steve
