Sealing an underground concrete weeping water?

I've got a weep on concrete ring installed 1m below ground level. The ring sits on a slab and a slurry mix was used to seal the interface. It has worked for the most. But I have 3-5 areas where the joint is weeping ground water in. One of them as soon as you remove the sponge it dribbles again.

Any suggestions as has to seal them

Yeah, problem is i can't remember the name of the product to google it.
We used to seal leaks in concrete pipes with it - Used to drill a 12mm hole to coincide with the crack and insert a non-return valve (tits we called them) a 150mm long tube with a grease nipple on one end. They had a nut half way down and acted like a through bolt so when you turned the nut it tightened itself in the hole.
We pumped in a resin using something similar to a pressure testing pump which reacted like mad and expanded 30 times its own volume on contact with water - it used to force itself along the crack and seal it. An amazing product; if you had an open container you could see it start to swell in the bucket as it found water in the atmosphere.
We used a company to do it, then found we could get the gear easily and do it ourselves. It was easy and worked 100% everytime.
On some of the really deep ones the water pressure used to spray ground water across the width of the pipe...pump this stuff in and it was just like someone turning off a tap.
If only i could remember the name of it.

I can see the buckets now, white with blue text on them. It was called 'waterstop' but there are so many hits on google i can't find the right product. Once you snapped the seal you had 20 minutes to use it or it looks like a pierced can of expanding foam.

I'll ask an ex work mate i will see tomorrow night, see if he can remember! It will deffo work for you....

It used to be left lying about all over the place, so won't have been that expensive. The expensive materials were carefully allocated to jobs and booked out.

No, the patching stuff was like sticking a plaster on it. Always fell off after a bit. - the pressure of the water would push it out. This stuff was good, got the leak from behind. It was a liquid; looked like really runny golden syrup. It would react with the moisture in your body if you got it on your hands.

Thats it!!! Tampur 156 was the stuff. They have changed the packaging since i used to lug the buckets along service tunnels... Waterstop must have been something else, i think that was the name of the seal that would have been put between the sections of rings that had failed. Or maybe that was Tokstrip..?

These are the 'tits' or packers as they are properly called! Theres a full box of them ontop of a cable rack about 10 metres below Manchester city centre that i left there 10 years ago...i'll nip back and see if they are still there

Good find. Annoyingly I was taking to FEB tech support last week about this problem. I got the feeling the guy was vague

Once thse have been sealed this tank with bee full of rain water so there will be no problem with unequal pressures.

Tokstrip is the black stuff you bed the rings/culvert sections together with, sort of joint compound. comes with backing paper on.

And it horrible stuff to use from the once I used it! That injection stuff seams good will remember about that as keeping water out is a full time job at work with the underground stuff and bomb shelter!
