Hello all, I am new to this forum. And pretty new to welding.
I have been practicing for a few months now. I'm using a 2nd hand Sealey mig 100 which was given to me by a friend.
Thankfully my technique and welds are improving but I have trouble with the wire getting stuck in the hose when it comes to replacing the wire...
It has happened several times now, each time I replace the wire it get worse and harder to push the wire through. It feeds all the way until it reaches the torch where it gets stuck. It used to push through with a little encouragement (either a little bash / bang whilst pressing the trigger or by pushing some wire through the torch end to clear the obstruction) however this it is no good I've tried & tried to no avail.
I know the welder is not the greatest but I think it is decent enough to help me practice and better my technique before investing in a better welder.
I am hoping this is an easy fix by changing the torch and tips but when looking I see there are a few options.
My question is does anybody know what type of torch / hose I need? And will this fix my issue?
Many thanks in advance
