Hi guys, new to the page. My welder has just packed up, the drive motor for the wire has stopped working. There is power to the welding set, the torch is fine as when I press the trigger I can hear the contact pull in but the rollers wont activate. I have looked at the control board (pcb) and cant see any burn marks or breaks. I have made sure all connections are tight to all fixings, I have also tested the motor coils which I am getting a resistance of 3.8 ohms to me this is high I would have imagined it should only be 0.2 ohms. Its only a small 24v dc drive motor any ideas? Thanks guys.
