Hello....hope you're all well.
I have never welded before...and therefore have no idea about welders.
I am about to buy one to do some work on my VW T4... and I have found the two mentioned above.
The Sealey MightyMig 100 ...that I can get for £150 from Euro Car Parts....or the Clarke 102 NG ..they are both no gas welders...which Im sure will be fine for me...I will most likely be welding in the street outside my house...outside somewhere anyway.
The main reason Im going to get one now rather than pay someone to do the welding is because both are pretty cheap...and I understand that shouldnt really be my main consideration when buying the right welder...but it just has to be Im afraid.
Im happy to consider any other welder you might suggest if its around the same money etc...but would also like your thoughts on which one ..of the two I have mentioned.. you personally would go for.
Any help or advice will be very much appreciated.
