Looking to replace the liner on this welder that I've borrowed. Anyone got any ideas where I could try and get one? Plastic would probably do tbh...

 

curtain wire from a hardware shop, works well and is under 2 quid.

 

Interesting idea - guess that or bike brake tubes are all much the same kinda stuff

 

Yep, it's a well known fix.
4 mm curtain wire is same diameter as the plastic, is much cheaper and much better.
Bike outer Bowden cable is too large, IIRC?

 

Geat - thanks I'll get some and try it. Its got a very old and knackered plastic liner at the moment. Would be nice to return it to my mate in better nick if I can.

 

I was just wondering how a metal liner would come through to the pinch rollers? That plastic liner looks very thin...
