sealant around upvc- brick ? tips?

i need to redo the sealer around our upvc frames - brick

whats the best way...bit of tape down the brick or what?

Tape frame & brick, smooth the silicon, get the tape off sharpish before it starts curing.

meant to add it going to be a fat finger size bead if that makes any odds

One of them has a huge gap now I've pulled the sealer out...would I be best gluing on a trim?

you can buy d bead from plastic places add a roll of double sided tape stick on

you realy should use non expanding foam or at least foam pipeing behind to help stop drafts
