Trying to drill a 65mm hole (for a duct) down through my garage floor at about 45deg. So through the concrete, engineering bricks then down through the concrete footings.
Got so far with a Mexco SDS core cutter. Not tbh really meant for concrete but had the hole filled with water to keep everything cool. Going OK. Drill a bit, break it off and so on.
Decided then to try and drill a pilot to hopefully come out beyond the concrete footings so I can see where it is when I dig the trench. Seemed to go through OK with the first 1m long SDS. Tried enlarging the hole with a bigger 1m bit...and it's now stuck fast. 1500W mains SDS drill won't budge it. Any ideas?
Got the ar$e and belted it with the clubbie. Damaged the SDS end and broke the hammer!
