A bit off topic I know but here goes.
I have a couple of flower planters made of plastic coated mild steel whose feet have rusted through. Apart from the four 'feet' on each they are sound so I thought a repair is worth a try. They look a bit like the brackets used for hanging baskets, only smaller, which screw onto the main fixing.
I reckon some lenghts of 1/8" x 1/2" bent to shape would do but the question is how to? As they need to be the same a jig would be required I guess but as how to do it I'm not too sure, would it be best to heat the bar, how do you stop it from twisting laterally etc etc (no I'm not a fabricator by any means!)
Any ideas/p*sstaking gratefully received.
