Screwfix gasless wire

Have any guys on here used the gasless mig wire from screwfix?

I just wondered if it is any good or is it likely to be chinese rubbish ?

Never used it and it's probably not the best on the market but I think Screwfix are a little fussier than most 'cheap' suppliers so it's probably not the worse you can buy...for the price I would give it a go.

Report back here if you try some of that Screwfix wire, Fuff, and let us know what it's like.

I picked up some of their 2.4 mm rods for stick welding once, a Sunday afternoon and they were the only place open, but they weren't very good. I finished the job with them, but they were a pain to use.
Flux seemed badly made or badly mixed, sometimes flaring, sometimes almost sputtering out. I keep 'em for garden jobs now, where looks ain't too important.
