Secondly - When was the last time you heard about either a scrap yard being robbed for their cash or the vehicle carrying the cash while doing the money run from the bank.
I think cash payments are to be banned from this month. Payment by cheque or bank transfer only. This is only in England and Wales at the moment.

Now its just too much hassle for me as a bathroom fitter to take in a years worth of copper tails ive been re cycling but if i were a caravan dwelling petty criminal then id be quids in![]()
I gathered a couple of buckets and asked for the sweepings to be put in them. Once I'd raked over the contents and removed offcuts of wood, stray screws etc. there were... wait for it... 59Kg of shavings. Got a round or two of drinks out of it... 
You mean they issue a cheque for a tenner then give the guy £9 cash if he gives them the cheque back?
My local scrappy knocks the loose change off the amount he gives you.
