Scrap bodywork panels; Newcastle area?

Just wondering if anybody knows where I could get cheap car bodywork panels from, to use for welding practice. Newcastle-upon-Tyne area. I'll be going through Yellow Pages and Freecycle etc but thought I'd ask on here to see if anyone already knows of somewhere.

Car breakers?
Sure they will have a load of bent ones they can't sell??

I have aquired a couple of free bent up panels (for the same reason) from wreckers here in Oz....they all seem to have plenty of them....and I imagine that might be the normal case for car wreckers/breakers/dismantlers around the world...

Pop down to your local car body repair shop, and have a word...

Interesting idea. Think I might have to give this a try round my area.

Defo good material for practicing on.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but what material would be advisable for "repairing" these damaged panels?
