Scooter beeping mobility scooter problem

Just beeps

Turn the key it beeps and will not move flip the lever to neutral some times if your very lucky flip to drive it will run fine untill you hit a bump and then beeps and won't move again

Switch

Is this just a simple duff Switch attached to to the red lever ?

Any experts or any one want to chime in on this please

Sounds like a broken cable, where you will ask?
Thats the issue, the one we had similar was in the handle bars, were the loom bent round a corner.

All you can do is work your way through each cable and connection.

If the drive unit comes away from the rest, clean the contacts where they join the main unit.
The lever looks bent, is it fully moving inside to move switch?
Short out switch if you can get cover off.

Think you will find that the lever is just a "mechanical" means to disengage the drive to allow the scooter to be pushed. Ther maybe a safety microswitch under the seat to only allow movement when someone is seated.

Does the scooter roll when it is bleeping ? If not then I'd suspect the electric brake or wiring to it. The red lever just mechanically disconnects the brake from it's default "on" position.

the red lever is just a mechanical disconect so the buggy can be pushed (i have one), the bump n go symptoms would sugest a broken wire or dodgy solder problemo
