Received my quote from Bardshaw's:
[ 5 x CHS, 48.3x3, 180* + 600 STR E/End (In 2 Sections) 3048 M/R AD, Left long, Mild Steel -£58 each - carriage £90] And I guess that VAT needs paying also...
5 semicircular hoops, to a radius, median line, so the overall width would be 6144mm... AD, not idea, not sure about that one...Left long, would be they probably chuck a whole length, in the machine, roll to the desired rad and length, then just leave the rest straight.
If it is 3048 rad, you'd need two lengths for each anyway, hence the 2 parts.
At a very vague guess, AD might mean 'along diameter' saves confusion when rolling other sections, such as angle TI or TO, Toe in or Toe out...
Of flats, OE, OF, on edge, on flat...
Did you do the quote online? Might be worth a ring instead, dont get confused between your diameter and radius
