Hi All,

After a session yesterday fabbing up my new welding trolley (finally bit the bullet and got a BOC Y contract and need a beefy trolley to go with it) I somehow contrived to screw up the tip of the torch, the torch liner and neck. I believe that I hadn't fixed the replacement tip in particularly well (the brass in my torch has always been a little mishapen so I could only ever get about half the threads in), and it spat out and caused a bit of mayhem.

Well I ordered some replacement parts from Weldequip at about 16:00 yesterday, hoping that I could get on with the job next week. At about 10am this morning they come through the door. Marvelous - I can finish up! And all very well priced too. I'm impressed with the regulator I bought from him a month or so ago as well.

No affiliation, I thought I'd share how impressed I am with this service. But then, you all knew that anyway . . .

Lots of satisfied customers with the expertise and speed of Weldequips service, I only hope the "Y" size bottle contract you took out was on the BOC volkszine deal?

Yep, the VZ deal is an excellent option in my opinion. I looked around for a few different options but in the end, I thought going with BOC was worth it. The rental is worth it just to ensure I know I have plenty of gas around, and seeing as I'm not sure where in the country I'll be living, having a large company who I can go to anywhere in the country makes sense.
