Sash clamps/spreader

Evening guys.
Can anyone recommend a good decent set of 40-60” set of sash clamps that’s able to spread aswell? I’ve looked all over can’t seem to find anything that’s able to spread.

You fix them to a bit off wood.

I always find them a bit pf a pain to get adjusted lots of half turns ,,

Then you mounted the fixed head in the wrong place.

probably trying to use them in the wrong situations , I got sick of them and use a portapower for most things now , then again its very seldom I bother with wood , Im not clever enough or patient enough for wood working ,

Normal bottle jack and pallet wood works for me a lot of the time.

Buy T section from a steel stockholder, drill every 100mm and make your own clamps using some M16 bolts.

same thing using 2x2s or 3x2s but can go really tight

Record Slash clamp heads.
You fix them to a bit off wood.

The slot in them is made for 1" thick wood. That means you can also use a length of 25x50 shs as your sash bar, giving you more strength!

theres also tube clamps.....yanky style....the tube is steam barrel......black painted steel plumbing tube....
