Hi
I recently purchased a pneumatic palm sander with a backing pad and with 80 grit at 90psi it didn’t rough up the bare metal surface much.
Previously I have used a cheap pneumatic orbital sander - is this what I am supposed to use for roughing up the bare metal?
what is the best tool? Do I need a real dual action pneumatic or is orbital okay?
Are these palm sanders more for finer touch work on primers etc?
Regards
