3 different jcb headstocks i think not 2!!

Absolutely ridiculous how many different ones there are i can think of 15 or more off the top of my head

Well jcb do the mini tool carrier version, standard tool carrier and the loading shovel version which is the same as volvo shovels. Then you get the jcb tm's which are standard on the pin and cone setup.

Theres also a jcb headstock for i think 406 and 407 models quite unusual as it was only fitted to a few different models

I thought they used the mini tool carrier, maybe that was just an option though.

How did someone ever have the idea that 4 brackets from just one manufacturer was a good idea!

I can see the need for 2 maybe 3 different sizes to cover everything from small compacts and tractors, standard loadalls up to loading shovels but 30 different ones?

I’ll cut my own on the plasma. I seem to remember the brackets being 20mm though so I’ll just fire a design over to Pegasus profiles and get it cut in RQT or Strenx.

I’ve found the system on the BT420 to be very strong and reliable.

If you PM your email il dig out the file over the weekend, I think Manitou are all the same TBH It was just JCB who seam to like to confuse things by having two of there own systems.. Shame no one did a Ferguson job on headstocks years ago and come up with a universal system.

I know this is an old post but I'd be interested in that file if you still had it ? I am doing a similar job for my uncle and a drawing would be helpful if you still had it?

There's also the 2CX Streetmaster style which is almost identical to the 3CX except that the bottom pin bracket is mounted a couple of inches outboard of the top hook
