Hi guys.
Yep same question. Which Tig do I spend my money on. Its been a long time since I tig welded. I regularly use MMA and Mig but I am out of touch with the latest "good stuff" when it comes to tig.
I have a decent budget me thinks so cheap is not always good. I really dont handle breakdowns/failier of equipment very well and it will be used for light commercial work.
It needs to do up to 6mm steel and similar ali.
Yep sure it needs to be AC/DC.
I have experience with a foot pedal. Are these still the way to go?
I really would like it to run from a 13 amp 240 supply.
A single purpose machine is preffered, multi use machines never seem to work properly IMO.
Inverter Fusion Ltd machines seem to have a good rep on the google search. I just dont like the plastic look!!!
SIP weldmate look only marginaly better.
Do I really have to have a digital display? I like knobs to turn!!!
So whats the deal for a decent TIG?
Responces from commercial welders very welcome.
