Suspension links will normally have a right handed rod end or flex joint on one end and a left handed on the other end.
Finding left handed taps in unusual sizes like 7/8-18 is difficult/expensive, then the tube adaptors to match the selected tube, and often left handed joints mean having to buy a higher end model of joint. Basically, by the looks of things, making all my links with a left handed joint on one end is going to add £600 to my build.
The links are approx 75cm length in total, 1.75" tube with 10swg wall. And 7/8" Johnny joints at each end (basically beefy heims with poly inserts).
The panhard and steering drag links will just be 30mm tube with simple 7/8" as there's limited space around there.
Any opinions or experiences?
