Good God! I do indeed remember Phil Langdon. He had a beautiful Volvo, a la The Saint! Say hello to him for me, there weren't any other Julians at the time!

Same with factories, couldnt knock them down fast enough. I believe there were at one time , something like 53 locomotive builders in Scotland alone, now our railway stuff is made overseas . One square mile in Manchester used to make more machine tools than anywhere on earth, now shops !!.
