A subtly different thread!
I bought two Ryobi intelligent chargers from a seller on Facebook local to me.
They arrived today. I tried them both on my smaller Ryobi batteries and they both did what I expected. Steady red - power, no battery; flashing red - battery present; flashing red and green - charging; then steady green - fully charged.
I then put in the 4Ah battery and I had flashing red, then a quick flash of green and then flashing red. (This had previously charged successfully on a smaller Ryobi charger).
I tried the other charger and it did the same.
I removed the battery and they now just flash red with no battery present - ********!
Does anybody repair these things as I now have three of them in the same state or have I just learnt an expensive lesson? It looks like the 4Ah battery dislikes the intelligent chargers (or vice-versa!)
Looks like I only charge the big battery on a small charger!
