I have one. I think I was was given it for xmas and I assumed it was crap, then I lent it to someone who blasted the back half of a Fairlane with it, a spot at a time; the back half of the car had been bare metaled and then it was left outside! I was amazed how well it worked and we used it on rust spots from them on.

I have a Sip one which I'm planning to modify so that I can use it in a small cabinet - I can confirm they DO work but a) you need patience, and b) if you want to recover the blast medium they have to be used perpendicularly.

Similar experience, it will work but lot's of patience required, sadly not something I'm over endowed with. Used a big old 3 phase compressor too, so I can't blame that.
