havent updated for a while, mainly because i havent done anything lol.
but now the nice weather is out, ive done a little work...
the other day i modded my rear beam to make it a little stiffer and so i can fit my new arb setup too.
then today i applied all my seam sealer, then when that was setting i painted the rear beam

Then i painted the the floor. Sprayed on with the compressor, turned out great

painted up some bits the other day...
then plonked the tank back on and put the beam on too. greased up all my bolts and fittings so they dnt rust up, oh and the arb is fitted too.
Took the dust covers off from the brakes so i can clean them up aswell. when they're on it should look pretty tidy at the back. Just gotta mod the fuel filler pipe a little cuz it wants to go right where i put the arb, but nothing that cant be sorted, just have to pick up some hose when the shops open again.
anyways, couple of pics of how i left it this afternoon.
and put the polyurathene bushes in aswell

The rear section of that looks like it will last forever now fella, job's a good 'un! 
repaired passenger side wing at the bottom. i cut it off a while ago should of took pics of it all but forgot. neway the bottom was rusted along with the bit behind it. so fixed that up and cleaned up that same side of chassis rails aswell. no welding needed someones previously done it, its still ok, so thats a bonus.
took a while to make the one part, its all abit messy, but it'll do the job.
this side looks ok
now the other side.......... which i'll start 2mrw, sill is pretty ****ed and the bottom of the wing rusted. nowhere near as bad as the other wing section was tho
after cutting that bit of sill off i was rotten right into the floor too lol. so i had to cut some of the floor out
i didnt take any pics of the process cuz i was on a roll and forgot. but i got some of it after i seam sealed it all
big section i cut out with a new lip
then the floor was rusted from the sill right upto the chassis leg, and a small section of the chassis leg i repaired too.

Then today i put some paint on, abit splotty cuz i was holding the gun too close cuz the car really isnt high enough lol, but its on neway.
quickly sprayed this too. Got some more paint comin for the interior though

Had the change over the top hats though as the fronts had mk6 ones on. The rears are already mk5 ones, so they will be easy to put on.

Had to make sure the exhaust clears the beam and roll bar. some strategic smacks with the hammer sorted that lol. And also when i repaired the chassis legs i forgot to add on the ehaust hanger. But Doesnt matter as i have to make a new hanger neway as the arb is in the way.

need to make some compression struts, and probably guna have to shorten the tca aswell, but will need all my rod ends and bearings first so i can do all my measurements

ordered all the bearings etc and while i waited for delivery of them i added some more bars to my half cage
first one
next one, buzzed them on aswell..
then added the belt bars
got some avo coilovers

cheers mate.
done some tidying up 2day. cleaned up the interior and gave it a coat of paint. and some seam sealer in some places. Will paint it black tomorrow if it's nice. Took the battery out, been welded before so just cleaned that up and seam sealed it properly.
And my tca's are finished woop!
