For a long time ive been stripping rusty steel stuff in a tub of Bilt Hamber De-ox-C.
Like most concoctions, its much more effective at a high temp. Ive used fish pond heaters in the past, which helps, but they struggle to get much aboce 20 c in winter.
So i was thinking i need something that will produce more heat. At which point it gets more complicated.
Most heating elements i can buy dont have a thermostat. Plus, i cant really fit them to a plastic container!
So i was scratching around looking at stainless steel tanks etc. All crazy money. However, what cropped up was deep fat fryers. Normally start at 50 c. Which would be ideal. And come with baskets which is handy for small stuff.

Has anyone done this or found some easy off the shelf solution. Thats thermostatically controlled?
