Hi folks, as I've been working away on this, I've gotten to the stage where if I'm gonna stitch weld the seams I need to start doing it now.
I was wondering if there's any method of doing it while ensuring rust protection. Say for instance, I open the gap between spot welds slightly, seam sealer removed, wire wheel to remove any coatings, then weld thru primer & stitch weld after hammering snug again? Or just open, clean weld & then seam seal it & rely on the sealer?
Any thoughts? What has anyone else done?
