what pressure u blasting at. wants to be about 90 psi constant

Sorry should have specified this is 60 year old mild steel about 20-22 gauge. Here is the result after a quick pass just to get paint and lose rust then a slower pass to clean up. View attachment 341778

id make do at that if its just the engine compartment. give it a coat of 2k epopxy primer and a coat of 2k topcoat will last donkeys years without flaking off

The compressor is only 3hp running off a 13amp plug and does not have anywhere near the CFM to run at 90psi continually.
Probably around 60psi.


Would love a larger compressor but space and cost is a major factor. Did contemplate plumbing in a second compressor to help out but space is an issue

cant you pick up a second hand comp. 60 psi is well below pressure to blast efficiently with good cutting power

If you saw my setup you would understand, I can probably borrow another compressor but it would have to sit outside and that will not go down well with the neighbours...
