It is a splendid write up Langy. Only point I would take issue with is the grocer's apostrophes. ;-) Oh and the sales blurb for G3 claims it will deal with 1500 grit, so maybe the G6 and 2000 grit steps could be missed out? I have done that with the faulty paint, blue panels and it comes up like glass.

How long shoudl I wait before I hit the panels again with the 400grit?
Did they appear as you were spraying the second?
