hi due to my china tig going faulty, i thought id have a go to see if this dc tig welder will work powering it up via a arc welder , ,
heres what i tryed , i used a sealy 160amp arc and clamped the main earth/posi leads to the tig , but fitting them posi to negi/neg to posi ,so in theroy should have been postive earth , but evern after trying it both ways , the machine powers up , but lights up saying wrong polarity, so i assume the one of the items maybe ac or dc /any possible ideas guys ,
