It was great last time really enjoyed the trip, usually the stuff I want I dont buy but come home with all sorts need to see the Bulb bloke, hoping the petrol hose guy is there and that bloke who sells Motorbike parts for £1!

About 0600 its all over by 1200
Most normal people turn up around 0900 you jut never know what you will see.

get there real early otherwise the dealers buy all the bargains up themselves and resell them on

wasnt a bad day got a boxfull of dusk to dawn led outdoor fittings a fiver each that sell for 40 . a gallon of sadolin woodstain 25 quid and a wall chaser chissel for 3 .quid told the bloke it was a cheap screwfix one .cleaned it up and its an armeg one and there about 36 quid

Doesn't sound much like the autojumbles as I remember them - new old stock panels, brake parts, bearing shells, gasket sets etc plus loads of 2nd hand tools?!

Winchboy bought another motor bike, well I dont know where he gets it from?
Bulbs, C90 Speedo, clutch and a few assorted handy bits.
An exhaust that was very cheap but sadly doesnt fit but it was worth punt, New wire brush, Crimp fittings.
Dash Cam for Winchgirl.
Was worth going for us.

Sadly online has changed the Jumbles but we still like a mooch around.

I stopped being bothered when the 2nd hand tools were on the 4th or 5th time around and fit for scrap only . .

Its not like a car boot no plastic toys and clothes well there is a bloke selling work wear and another with outdoorsy type tweeds.Plenty of Traders selling consumables, Exhaust parts, New bike parts, Paint, Several new and used tool stalls, a few people just clearing out and a few selling Gentlemens collectables

It's quite surprising how Rufforth has survived. There's been at least a couple relatively close to Rufforth that have been more like traditional auto jumbles, that have only lasted a year or two. Same with his car boot its not the best, but keeps on going.

We have little options as only Rufforth and Newark of decent size our local one is only 30 stalls, other new local one 4 stalls last week!

we go to scorton just up the road once a month .quarter of the size of ruffoth but some month get a fair bit of good gear there . a tool dealer we know bought a 17 the century french sword for 100 quid from there he recons its worth a grand

The Bromley / Enfield 'Pageant' classic car show jumbles are carp. The 'Mer man' will still be there, with his Mini bonnet and his fire.

At local car boot (Chigwell - think 'Birds of a Feather', orange faces, slugs for eyebrows...) I found a Fronius Transpocket, for £4.
