Ok guys having read all your posts Im completely confused now what do I do now ? sell welder ? practice on thicker metal ? or go for it and attack my car with the welder ???? I need a drink !!!!!!!!

probably late now, but I was suggesting you get yourself some scrap 3mm plate bar what ever and have a decent practise for a couple of weeks so you get used to the welder.

You'll have to do the same with a gas welder anyway.

as a lot of the welds in your pic aren't very good but 3-5 are ok, not a bash on you but I'd say you'd just burn holes through everything untill you gave up.

gas or gasless but if you spent some time welding you'd get somehwere fairly quick, than do your car pannels.

buy another welder if you want, goto a welding shop and trade in.
