Corner protectors aren't really to protect the corners just to highlight them. If you want to protect car / corner as above put a curb in.

A kerb would be more useful.

You need the modern equivelent of the victorian 'carriage kerb', a very rounded lump at the point of the pillar firmly bedded in the road way that prevents wheels comming too close. Often see them up narrow entrances between premises giving acces to where there were once stables.

The drive it yet to be paved, laid with gravel or whatever we opt for eventually. I like the idea of the carriage kerb but would worry about SWMBO tripping. She's doddery enough already!

Bumpers and slip panels - saves wingmirrors thru doorways.

Wingmirrors will fold - but they abrade on brickwork - thus the slip panels.

It could be worth buying a yellow and black one and trying to remove the yellow. Looking at the photo above, most of it has worn off, so it just needs a way to accelerate that process.

Aside from that, it is a bit tight between the pillars and on the sloping drive I worry about sliding a little in the snow & ice.

This is what you want. Paint them black or silver to look like metal.

Just ran a flow test.

Currently printing a 200 mm length at 9 mm³/s. Will cost around £3.50 each.

Well the 200 mm test piece came out stronger than a strong thing:

A bit stringy on the inside, my lad thinks the filament might have been a tad damp.

That won't matter as the outer face is spot on and tbh might even aid adhesion to the brick.

Above all they'll cover up the unsightly mess I made on that corner:

Will probably aim to do an interlocking step at each end to aid alignment. Maybe different sections in different colours...black and erm...yellow maybe?

Should work out about £14 per 800 mm length.

I'll likely get him to incorporate cut outs to go around the photocells.

Is it UV resistant? A quick search on Google suggests probably not.

Maybe on the one that will be at the top have a chamfer or radius to look good and shed rain/snow.
