As per the title really, which would you recommend as a good hobby welder? Which is going to last the longest? I have a snap on 130 turbo that is about 40 years old, still not dead, but would like a machinewitha bit more control, I'd like something with similar longevity as the snap on.
I have an rtech tig and does seem really good, had it about 7 years now, but heard great things of techarc (same company as Oxford)
The price of the rtech has almost has me sold rtech 180 £450, tecarc 211 £630
Techarc amps range 20A-200A
Retech range 25A-180A
There are other tech arc that have lower amperage ratings but for the extra 60 quid I'd rather have the extra juice
