I was told you can make a rpm adjuster for your grinder simply by installing a speed adjuster for a cooling fan between the grinder and power socket. Such a speed adjuster for a cooling fan is not much more than a variable potentiometer.
Any thoughts from the electronics experts? Also on the max power? I checked my online supplier for electronics components and they only sell these potentiometers for radios and the fan speed adjusters have a max P of 200Watt, which is way too little even for my tiny 4,5 “ grinder.
Would you need a logarithmic or linear potentiometer?
