theyre welded in studs , i will chew them off with my teeth before i drop the gearbox lol

Use a grinder to slice off one side right up to the thread.
Then hammer and chisel to turn it

Drill down through the nut close to the stud then split the nut with a sharp chisel . NEVER use a non impact socket on an impact gun, using an impact socket would have saved you loads of grief

its not a flange its a washer that turns separate

The ones in the video have a flange...If the same, have at the edge of the flange with a punch and a hammer.

Swaged on washer - free to rotate relative to the nut - or as used, to stop and the nut continue to spin until torqued on assembly - makes for rapid assembly with one item rather than separate. It the nut is seized enough to round off, you'll just push the washer around.
