Rough Paint Finish

I have just refurbished a set of alloy wheels. The finish is a little rough. What could be the causes of this? Could it be the primer? Im using 2k max meyer high build primer.

could be lots of things

was the primer sanded flat ?

poor application on the paint /clear , wrong air pressure , wrong ratios

You've either not put the topcoat on wet enough, OR (More than likely) the primer was a little bit dry after application, and you haven't flatted it enough.
