Although its not technically the right place as its more a social type topic.
But my eldest has bumped a van with his handlebars and scraped the rear panel of a boy racer's pride and joy.
Sods law that it was the nicest vehicle condition wise in the area, and that the lad was in the car at the time cleaning it so saw my son coming past and hitting his van.
It has just been resprayed and so the scrape is really noticeable, you can catch it with your fingernail and it looks like it has scraped through the clearcoat and part way into the colour coat.
I am not really a car paint expert but I wondered if this can be part filled and polished out without having to respray the panel ?
The 2 scrapes are about 5 cms or so each in length.
Advice ??
