mk6 transit? that will just be the tip of the iceberg. is a new chassis leg available? or a cut section from a better van?
I would agree. That's a LOT of work. Doable, but expensive. The vehicle may be beyond economic repair to an acceptable standard.Whatever price you quote, multiply by 10 and you won't be far out.
Have towed things like that out of the sea at Brean Down
Example's. Washing does not stop the rust
We went to Weston & watched the beach racing one time, after it was all clear except for a brand new Range Rover & tide coming in, the owner obviously gone off around the town. Some of the race officials hitched a Land Rover to it & tried to pull it with no success, then tried with a tractor & couldn’t budge it, by which time the water was up to the doors. By the time we left, just the roof was showing, I was surprised the guys trying to tow it to safety didn’t break the window & let the brakes off, but I suppose they then could be held responsible for the damage even though they’ve saved the Rangie.Brought to you courtesy of 'Write-offs R Us'.
