This vise has a V shape on the top, is it damage or some kind of adaption
When I've come across the problem in the past, I've just laid a strip of rag on top of the vice and stuck a parallel on topWhen you use it, can you report back how effective it is in stopping suds running onto the floor in use. That's one of my bugbears as you end up stood in a puddle of suds after a long session and I never thought to do this..
Angle ground slots just makes sense too, your midway on a long job yet again with a slippy patch at your feet and getting tired, but everything is set up and progressing and you dont want to disturb it, so finally you break down and animal a solution in...
