Well it works ...I went out on Sunday and started rotivating around the grapes ....I did a couple of hours then went and finished them off this morning ... It works fine ,not as big heavy or as powerful as the 6hp machine that got nicked ... its more of a garden machine, I don't know if it will pull the plough that the other one did . But it's possible to manhandle it up on the back of the truck ...the other machine had a set of wheels that replaced the tynes ...so I could put them on and drive it up a steel ramp onto the truck, easy peasy ....a job for the future is to adapt the wheels off the old machine to fit this one ... it looks like it's a keeper ...once I get this years planting over I will get it back in the workshop and tidy it up a bit, lick of paint ..thanks once again for your support ...

Howard went the same way as the rest of British engineering. The Italians make similar "Rear Tyne Tillers" and, of course, Honda.

The Made In Crete "Minos" machine was brilliant ....very tough, 6 HP , pull a plough,. bomb proof ..If I had not been offered the Italian machine for free from a friend ,I would have gone a bought a new "Minos" last week I priced them up ,the new model of the one I had, is just about the same price as the one I bought 12 -13 years ago 1250 Euros or 1500 with electric start ....and they now make a 4.5 HP for 750 Euros ....
