I read the thread title and was expecting to see pictures of a car turned into a giant BBQ. Dissapointed to say the least....

You can find plenty of those photos on Utube usually surrounded by random car parts.

Can't you download them and then put them on another service?

No, I can see some of mine, and it tells me I have 2500 + more, but I have to subscribe to access them.

They have dicked about for years changing their system, trying to screw money out of people so I refuse to have anything to do with them now. Overnight they wiped out several build threads I had on cars, bike, garage, house etc on different forums.

Is it not worth paying once to download them? Shame to lose all the memories.

Well that worked out better than I thought it would

Can rotate it through 360 degrees and roll it around to access all areas.

What's the balance like?

It’s a bit bottom heavy but I can rotate it on my own. When the rear axle and front suspension come off it should be spot on.

Did you design it with the balance in mind or did you just build what looked right and hoped for the best? Only asking because if I built anything like that the issue would only dawn on me after I'd finished it.

Yes, had the balance worked out. Drew it all out beforehand.

I just stuck a scaffold pole through mine and used a couple of builders tressels, did not look as fancy but was cheap and only took a few mins to do, I did attach a pole with counterbalance weight to make it easier to move / position

A good few years ago I welded up a moggy for a mate.

Just tipped it on its side onto a pile of tyres topped with a mattress.
