Very basic question here. After spraying with 2K (at the moment a solid colour but same for clear) I will cut back with a fine wet sand (e.g. 3000 trizact after a quick 2000 or 1000 depending on how bad it is)
Then on to polishing with a rotary polisher. The last time I bought polish was a while ago, pretty sure it was a 3M machine polish I saw everywhere on t'internets at the time. I put a couple of dots on my pad, rub them in (prime? the pad) and usually spray a *little* water on the pad. Even on the slowest speed, I always get spots of polish getting flung absolutely f*ckin everywhere! I'm happy with the finish I get, no issues there.
Am I supposed to not use water? What tips have you got for not making a mess of everything except the panel you're working on?
